"Every single child wants to be successful. The problem is, if they can't be successful at being successful, they'll be successful at screwing up. Our job as educators is to change the latter to the former."

At various times I have been a writer, an actor, a teacher of language arts, journalism and writing, a high school assistant principal, an educational program developer, professional educational and education technology trainer, a district language arts coordinator and a bartender (I am not available for private parties.)

Most recently, in addition to conducting school-wide professional development workshops focusing on infusing success skills teaching into classes and educator-student interactions, I am working as a Senior Program Coordinator for the School System Improvement Project at Rutgers University.

Any questions or concerns, or to discuss creating a professional development program for your school or district, feel free to contact me at: steve@sheisler.com   or call  732-309-4369
